Sweetie Shimla ADOPTED 25/9
At 9 years old Shimla is recovering not only from a paralysis tick, but her owners could no longer keep her.She is depressed, although still absolutely appreciates some loving words and a scritch under the chin.
We are anxious to find her a caring home as a shelter is a hard place to be for an older girl used to a home.
She is Persian x Himalayan and gentle, sweet and intelligent.

Please phone Lesa, our adoptions officer on Ph# 0438363287 OR email us at petsforlifecatshelter@hotmail.com with your name and phone number. We can then make an appointment for you to visit the shelter. All our cats are desexed, deflead, wormed, vaccinated and microchipped
Adult cats are $65 and adolescents/kittens are $125.A bargain, the shelter doesn't cover costs, we are run completely by volunteers dedicated to saving abandoned animals , and also our wildlife.
If you want to make a donation of food, money, or wish to volunteer at the shelter or at fundraising activities you will be warmly welcomed.Short term, emergency and longterm volunteers are all needed.
It is fun and very satisfying to help these sweet ones who cannot speak for themselves

beautiful Rico ADOPTED

Rico is a Siamese Himalayan cross and is 2 years old. Rico is a sweet natured, intelligent adorable boy and he is in urgent need of a loving home. Rico has feline lower urinary tract disease, but placed in the right home he could live a fulfilling life and be your best friend. He needs to be on a special diet and due to his tail been removed after an accident has some lower nerve damage and at times can suffer occaisional mild incontinence... when asleep in bed .
Otherwise he is a very clean boy who is excellent about using his tray.
Rico loves to be outside all day and at night could sleep in a contained area with his litter tray. Rico is free to his new home and has been de-sexed, vaccinated, micro-chipped, wormed and flea treated
He gets along well with all the other cats, and is absolutely adored by the volunteer staff, if a home cannot be found soon we are very afraid for his future
